Due to its high content of antioxidants, polyphenols, resins, and B vitamins, the skin's environment can be altered by nutrition, making dogs less attractive to ticks. Thus, the rockrose mixture can support tick protection in dogs.

The gray-haired rockrose (Cistus incanus) can be used to support the immune system. Its effects are described in naturopathy as antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and antibacterial.

Our napani rockrose mixture also contains buckwheat germ powder. This is rich in valuable B vitamins for your dog or cat. Thus, the napani rockrose mixture can have a positive effect on ticks in dogs.

Whether B vitamins actually contribute to tick protection in dogs has not yet been scientifically proven. However, feeding natural B vitamins can positively influence metabolic function, which can change the dog's skin environment and its odor or perspiration. This appears to contribute to the defense against ticks in many dogs and cats.

Napani's blend is a healthier alternative to the commonly available cistus preparations, which are based on the waste product brewer's yeast. In addition, B vitamins ensure optimal functioning of the nervous system and strengthen the immune system.
