OUR STORY
A greyhound, an idea, and the beginning of Goldenway
Sometimes the best ideas arise where you least expect them – in our case: in a small garage in Riedikon, Uster . It all started here over 40 years ago with a greyhound and a large dose of passion.
The founders were dissatisfied with the feed available at the time. So they took their animals' welfare into their own hands. Fresh meat from the butcher, carefully blended, with heart and mind . What began as a simple solution for their own dogs quickly became a minor sensation – and the birth of the legendary Schnappi sausage. Soon, its aroma drew animal lovers from all over the region to the first Goldenway shop.
Today much has changed, yet the most important thing has remained: our love for animals and our passion for quality .
In Fällanden, we work with a young and young-at-heart team to carry on the original idea. From here, we supply customers throughout Switzerland and, of course, our loyal branch in Uster.
Because Goldenway is more than just pet food. It is a story of heart, craftsmanship, and the deep conviction that love for animals begins with quality.
