When Karl Nagel took over the Bubeck company in 1982, he felt his dog biscuits were still missing that certain something. Coming from an agricultural dynasty, he was no stranger to dog nutrition, as dogs had always been at home on the Nagels' farm. For this reason, he also knew that if you wanted to reward your dog with something special, you should give him fresh tripe. But he also knew that fresh tripe doesn't necessarily create the most pleasant smell in the house. So, he quickly added fresh tripe to the BullyBiskuit recipe, and the result was the delicious Tripe Bread, long since a classic among dog biscuits. Many have tried to copy this biscuit, but nothing is as good as the original from Bubeck.
