How do I change food correctly?
A gradual change in food is necessary because dogs need to get used to the new food composition. Changing the food too quickly can result in digestive problems, diarrhea, and flatulence. Ideally, the transition should last about two to four weeks, with a small amount of the new food mixed into the usual food at each time, while the usual food is gradually reduced until the new food is the only food in the dog's bowl. The transition to the new dog food is successfully completed!
How often should I feed my adult dog?
For adult dogs from 10 to 12 months of age, twice a day is sufficient. Adult dogs are typically fed in the morning and evening, with the total amount of food usually divided into two equal portions. The time of day isn't so important – what matters is a certain degree of regularity and set feeding times. If feeding is always at the same time, the dog is evenly nourished, and the dog's body can adjust to the fixed mealtimes.
