VEGDOG JERKEYS – Dogs love treats. But what if they're made from carrots and smoked over beechwood? Even better! Are there delicious vegan dog snacks that are also healthy? Sounds like a dream, almost fantastic, right? VEGDOG JERKEYS are exactly that.

We love snacks! Even better when they're healthy and good for our four-legged friends. But that's not all: with VEGGIES Skincare, your dog not only has a delicious, healthy treat, but they also help save the climate. Compared to meat-based snacks, they save 1 kg of CO² – that's equivalent to a car journey of approximately 6 km per pack!

Thanks to their hypoallergenic formula, VEGDOG JERKEYS are not only vegan but also suitable for four-legged friends with food allergies. Your dog will love the spicy aroma of the beechwood smoke – and so will you!

True to the motto "Feed well, do good," this snack was sustainably produced in Northern Germany. The ingredients are largely regionally sourced and naturally meet the highest quality standards. Furthermore, VEGDOG VEGGIES are completely free of attractants, colorings, and preservatives. And because VEGDOG wants to protect all animals, they naturally avoid animal testing.

Feeding the dog – a descendant of the wolf – a meat-free diet?

Even on a genetic level, dogs are no longer wolves. A 2013 study demonstrated that dogs have adapted to human diets over the course of domestication. For a very long time, these diets consisted primarily of plant-based components. Meat was a luxury item. Thus, dogs have never been able to eat as much meat as they do today. This genetic mutation is responsible for the dog's ability to metabolize starch.

For healthy dogs, vegan dog food can be a great way to do something good not only for your own dog, but also for other animals. You don't necessarily have to feed your dog a vegan diet seven days a week. Even one, two, or three days a week can not only help your dog eat a healthier diet, but also reduce mass meat consumption and thus protect the environment.
